Important information on IELTS tests
IELTS registration (Paper and Computer Delivered) is open for Regina and Saskatoon locations.
Test day information for Regina, Saskatoon,
Please note that you must bring your Original identification documents, passport or permanent residence card or Certificate of Indian Status or Refugee Declaration document (whichever you included on your application) to the exam otherwise you will not be allowed to write the test. You may also bring Water in a clear bottle to the exam if you wish. No other items are permitted in the test room. All other items such as watches, wallets, jackets, and phones must be checked in at the storage area. Please leave your valuables at home. IELTS and Sask Polytech assume no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Parking:
You may park in the visitor’s Lot. There is a charge for the parking. Click PARKING For more information. Parking in Estevan is free.
Check-in Time:
NOTE: Only test takers are allowed in the testing area. People who are not registered to write an IELTS exam may not stay in the testing area.
Regina campus users: Cafeteria is located on the 1st level and the library is located on the 2nd level should you wish to stay on campus while the test is in session.
Saskatoon campus users: Please note that fourth floor on main campus building is completely off limits to all people who are not registered to write the IELTS exam. The cafeteria and library are located on the main floor, if you wish to stay on campus while test is in session.
You must arrive at the test venue at 8 a.m. in order to register and check in. Please avoid bringing any personal belongings with you inside the building. Once you have checked-in, you may not leave the Testing Room until you have finished the writing test. Only candidates writing the test will be admitted to the building.
Candidates arriving after 8:30 a.m. will not be admitted to the test.

Duration of the Test:
Listening: 09:00-09:40 40 Minutes
Reading: 09:50-10:50 60 Minutes
Writing: 10:55-11:55 60 Minutes
There are no breaks between the sections of the tests.
Speaking Time :
The Speaking Test can be conducted two or three days before or on the main test day. Your speaking test schedule will be sent to you by email one week before the test date. You must be at the test venue 45 minutes prior to your scheduled speaking test time. The duration of the speaking test is 11-14 minutes.

Test Results: Test results will be available online 13 days after your test and Test Report Form will be mailed to you. Please allow 10 business days for delivery.
Your scores explained
When you log in to check your result online on IELTS Online Result Portal, you will now see a table with an explanation of your scores, and advice for improvement.
This will be available to view, alongside your online results, for 28 days
Please ensure that you read the brochure: ielts_information_for_candidate.pdf before your test date.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your test, please feel free to contact us or talk to the Test day Supervisor on test day.
