Instructions for Registration:

Online Registration
In order to complete your application, you must:

Complete the Online Registration.
Provide evidence of identity. This must be a valid, original passport or Canadian Permanent Resident Card (PRC)* bearing a photograph, a number, and a signature. The evidence of identity must show the full name of the applicant in English and include the date of birth. (The document upload must be smaller than 1600 X 1600 pixels and the file 1.5MB or less. Only JPEG, GIF or PNG files are supported at this time.)
Paid in full (We accept Visa, MasterCard, or debit card.) We do not hold seats for candidates. Seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment must be made within 24 hours to secure a seat.

If any one of these steps is missing, test takers will not be confirmed with a test date.
*Please remember that you must bring the same original identification document (passport or PRC) with you on test day. If you do not bring the original document (no copies), you will not be allowed to sit the test, nor transfer the test date, nor get a refund. If you have sent your passport to your agent/attorney or Immigration Office, you must retrieve it in order to sit the test, and send it back to them after the test is finished.

Please read the following policies before you register online.

IELTS will only accept a valid passport or permanent resident card;
Scan your passport photo page and signature page OR front and back of your Permanent Resident card to be prepared to upload onto the IELTS site when you are completing your registration;
Cancellations and Transfer of test must be requested 5 weeks before the test date, if requested less than 5 weeks before, there is no refund or transfer of your fees.

A confirmation email will be sent to you 4 days before the test with detailed information including time, location of your test

Refunds & Transfer                               $85   Only available up to 5 weeks before the test date. Please see the Cancellation and Refund Policy at the bottom.

Enquiry on Results   $170                Request must be received within 6 weeks from the test date.

Additional Results        $30   Plus additional $20 postage costs or if sent out by courier inside Canada.
Rescheduling of Speaking test $30               Based on Examiner's availability

NOTE: Only test takers are allowed in the testing area. People who are not registered to write an IELTS exam may not stay in the testing area.

Regina campus users: Cafeteria is located on the 1st level and the library is located on the 2nd level should you wish to stay on campus while the test is in session.

Saskatoon campus users: Please note that test floor is completely off limits to all people who are not registered to write the IELTS exam. The cafeteria and library are located on the main floor if you wish to stay on campus while test is in session.
